The State of Qatar announces the launch of the GS1 Qatar Office, which assists in obtaining the (630) code that is used by Qatari companies and organizations to create a global traceability barcode to identify their products and services with the aim of “unifying commercial standards among commercial partners at the local and international levels.”

Advantages of obtaining a Qatar global traceability number barcode

• The barcode is internationally accredited, which facilitates export operations to foreign markets
• Own an identification card for your product, locally and internationally
• By obtaining a globally unique traceability code, it will prevent product conflict in commercial markets.
• The global barcode contributes to protecting your product from being counterfeited
• Registering your products and/or services in the national product database
• Inclusion of your product and/or service data in the global product database, which consists of more than 200 million products
• You will be allowed to promote your products and/or services in local and international markets.
• You will be allowed to create a digital copy of your product and/or service to enable its marketing and sale in digital markets
